37-40“Then those ‘sheep’ are going to say, ‘Master, what are you talking about? When did we ever see you hungry and feed you, thirsty and give you a drink? And when did we ever see you sick or in prison and come to you?’ Then the King will say, ‘I’m telling the solemn truth: Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me—you did it to me.’ (Matthew 25:37-40, The Message)
You think you have problems? Everyone has problems, and God’s word teaches us that we are to do our best to help solve those problems. Truth is, it is extremely selfish to go around dwelling on your own personal problems without even giving a thought to the problems of those around you.
One of the best things you can do when you are having a hard time is to quit focusing on it. Focusing on it without a solution does not do you any good, it just adds worry and worry brings its own set of new problems.
